Changing States: where to live, & how to get them to move
if i walk up to a crowded bar, i don't even think about it... i believe i can wiggle my way up to the front, lock eyes with a bartender & get a drink soon.
i'm gonna get (the drink) i want, & the bartender is gonna get (the tip + the work experience) they want.
same if i walk up to a stranger...
or a new country...
or try a new restaurant...
i navigate most situations in this state.
now, not to be an asshole... but how can you spend all the hours you're alive, moving through life the way you do... then think you can show up to x situation, in the right state, to actualize a positive sum exchange?... let alone make that positive outcome your typical reality... if you don't spend much time in this state, in or out of that situation?...
pretty unreasonable, right?...
so,
in your current state: your fears are totally reasonable.
what you're looking at, is operating in a different state.
not only in x situation... but in general... in life.
just like the person on the other side is.
except with the state i'm describing i operate in...
i'm not pretending...
& they're not on the other side...
this is the state i reside in.
& we're already on the same side.
something to think about.
